Empowering women in medicine, and breaking barriers in medical practice

The Bayelsa Medical university held a two days  event  in Yenagoa, The summit aimed to improve health systems performance through strategic planning and stakeholder engagement.
The event was attended by notable figures in  medical field people  in the industry, including clergy men like the general overseer of Omega power ministry ( OPM) Apostle Dr chibuzor Gift chinyere a philanthropic,vice chancellor’s of universities in the Niger Delta and other top universities in  Nigeria’s .
The general overseer OPM while addressing the audience said “girl child education is very important to the development of the country, and promise to sponsor female students for the sake of the gap between male and female inquality in the society .
The secretary to the Bayelsa State government Prof.Nimibofa Ayawei, presented lecture on academic leadership in public service balancing responsibilities for governance and education,”I consider the assignment  challenging, Africans leaders have to encourage the education system.
“According to him as academic politians,am expecting this development to experienced a huge  strides in education,we have not given enough to education, enumeration by prioritizing needs of the university.

The Vice chancellor’s of the  university professor E.N Etebu BMU,  said the event was to brainstorm on the challenge  in medical profession  Bayelsa State, and others from diaspora who made Thier contribution via zoom, including the pro, chancellor Dr , Amb, God knows Igali .

The aim of the program was to brainstorm on the various challenges associated with genders and communication enhancement in conduct  of affairs of medical institutions.
