Stakeholders of the Labour Party in Bayelsa State, have lauded the developmental strides of Governor Douye Diri, noting that the modest achievements of the State chief executive over three years was overwhelming.
Coordinator of the Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Council, Mr Morris Alagoa, alongside other top hierarchy of the PCC, made this known during a courtesy visit to the Special Adviser on Political Matters to the Governor, Chief Collins Cocodia, in his office in Yenagoa.
Mr Alagoa, lauded the governor for his commitment in the three Senatorial road projects, despite the huge cost involved which according to him, are strategic to the development of the state.
According to the renowned Environmentalist, having assessed the three major candidates contesting the November 11 governorship election, it would be suicidal to neglect the incumbent Governor, whom has performed beyond expectations.
Responding Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Chief Collins Cocodia, while reminiscing the account of the last Presidential election, lauded the Coordinator of the Peter Obi Presidential Campaign Council, Mr Alagoa Morris, and other top stakeholders of the party, for acknowledging the efforts of Governor Diri in transforming the state.
Chief Cocodia, assured the Labour Party leadership that the Governor is a man of his words, and is evidenced in the impact he made in the health, security, youth and women empowerment, education, among other sectors, and will surely complete every ongoing project in the state, particularly the three Senatorial roads.
The governors aide, described ‘Obidients’ as force that are after right-thinking, positive-minded and focused leaders, and applauded them for throwing their weight behind the Miracle Governor.
