Female Group Parleys Support For Gov Diri

Female Political group under the aegis of Bayelsa Elite Women Support Group has pledged its total support to the re-election bid of Governor Douye Diri.

The group, with over a thousand members, made the pledge when its executive paid a courtesy visit to the Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Chief Collins Cocodia, at his Yenagoa office on Monday.

Chairperson of the group, Mrs Ebikabowei Wilson-Pela, said the achievements, polices and programs of the Governor, informed their decision to throw thier weight behind him.

Mrs Wilson-Pela expressed readiness to embark on a door-to-door grassroot campaign, to spread the message of the Prosperity administration to community dwellers.

Responding Special Adviser to the Governor on Political Matters, Chief Collins Cocodia, praised the group for their efforts, and urged them not to relent in their bid to see the Governor’s reelection.

Chief Cocodia,  stressed that the ‘product’, Senator Douye Diri is marketable, following his traits, track records, leadership qualities and his achievements so far.
