The attention of the Hon. Minister of State, Petroleum Resources (Gas), Rt. Hon. Ekperikpe Ekpo, has been drawn to the existence of several Facebook accounts in his name (and with his photograph) purportedly being operated by him.
The Hon. Minister wishes to clarify that he does not post any message bordering on the activities of the ministry nor does he solicit for any form of support on Facebook.
He therefore advises the public to disregard these fake Facebook accounts as they are the handiwork of impostors/fraudsters who seek to use it to defraud unsuspecting members of the public.
He also implores the general public to report these scammers to relevant authorities.
