ENWAF, Stakeholders To Witness Establishment Of CS-SUNN Chapter In Bayelsa

Eunice Nnachi Women Advocacy Foundation, ENWAF will join other stakeholders on Nutrition Advocacy and Budget Tracking in the Establishment of Bayelsa State Chapter of Civil Society – Scaling up Nutrition in Nigeria, CS-SUNN.

CS-SUNN is the Nigerian Civil Society Alliance (CSA) of the Scaling Up Nutrition (SUN) global movement, which was founded on the principle that all people have a right to food and good nutrition. Nigeria joined the global movement in 2011 and the CSA arm (CS-SUNN) was birthed in November 2013.
In partnership with UNICEF, CS-SUNN is currently implementing a project which goal is to Increased investment in nutrition to scale up quality nutrition services in Nigeria. This project is specifically focused in 19 states.

Bayelsa state is one of the 19 focal states of this project. CS-SUNN currently has a chapter in 26 of the 36 states in Nigeria.

ENWAF as a key stakeholder in nutrition in Bayelsa state will join a four days capacity building workshop that is aimed at establishing a chapter of CS-SUNN in Bayelsa and build their capacity to function effectively in scaling up nutrition in the state and specifically enable effective implementation of the project.
