An APC chieftain and the founder of the Pastor Reuben Initiative for Good Leadership and Accountability, PRIFGLA, Pastor Reuben Wilson has described the Initiative as one united family bound together by ideals of brotherliness and love.
Pastor Reuben said the initiative is focused on achieving its objective of taking over government in Bayelsa State despite the November 11 governorship election setback in which the APC lost to the PDP.
Addressing members of the initiative during a meeting at the organization:s office in Yenagoa, Pastor Reuben appreciated them for their commitment, dedication and contributions during the November 11 governorship election and encouraged them not to lose hope but be prayerful as according to him God can still turn things in favour of the APC.
He insisted that the All Progressives Congress, APC won the November 11 governorship election in Bayelsa State but noted that it was overturned in favour of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and it’s candidate, Senator Douye Diri.
He however expressed optimism that if the right thing is done at the Courts the APC will reclaim its mandate.
The APC chieftain used the medium to commend His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu for his pragmatic and visionary leadership style which is a clear demonstration of resolve to change the narrative and achieve positive results as well as deepen good governance.
He noted that prior to Tinubu’s assumption of office as President the developmental indices was abysmal and the nation was adrift towards recession but within this short period there are signs of improvement, adding that with the wealth of experience and uncommon wisdom exhibited by Mr. President there is hope of Nigerians enjoying the dividends of democracy.
He urged Nigerians to be patient with the administration as the Hope Agenda of Mr. President begins to unfold while also appealing for support and understanding.
The founder of PRIFGLA warned members against antagonizing each other which breed hatred and strife but rather love one another for the initiative to move forward.
Pastor Reuben urged members to stand and protect one another, adding that this is the spirit that should guide members.
He expressed sadness over the attitude of some elders who instead of guiding the younger one are going about and bullying down others through their actions and utterances.
